Every pathway into Breakneck begins with a documented, meritocratic process. Applicants are evaluated
through APEX and their physical abilities. Industrial partners are evaluated on capability and alignment.
Investors receive the same screening and diligence process regardless of introduction source.

Investor Access
Materials are gated and verified — not to slow you down, but because Breakneck's capitalization model
(Minimum Viable Capitalization vs. Target Initial Capitalization) deserves a conversation, not a cold PDF drop.
- Submit interest. Fund name, focus area, typical ticket size — about two minutes.
- Credibility check. We verify fund registration and public profile before materials go out.
- Receive tailored materials. A sector-aligned brief (energy, defense, mining, etc.), the One-Pager, and — if relevant — the Partner Brief.
- Schedule a call. A 20-minute conversation with the founder or a designated advisor.
Become a Baumeister
Baumeister — German for master builder. Not a job title Breakneck invented casually: it is
the standard every graduate is trained and validated against.
The APEX Assessment
Aptitude, Professional Conduct, and Entry eXamination
Breakneck does not believe a résumé captures everything a person can become.
APEX examines the candidate standing in front of us — not merely the credentials accumulated behind
them. Technical aptitude matters. So do physical capability, integrity, judgment, interpersonal conduct,
ability to receive correction, and the capacity to function inside a demanding team.
Applicants are not expected to arrive as tradespeople. They are expected to demonstrate the capacity
and character required to become Baumeisters.
The written examination spans 100 questions across six categories: mechanical and spatial reasoning,
practical math, professional conduct, moral and ethical scenarios, leadership and team dynamics, and
following instructions under ambiguity — followed by a written statement and a short vocal response.
Applicants may formally object to any question they believe is unfair or poorly framed; objections are
recorded verbatim and reviewed as part of the candidate packet, not penalized.
The Physical Standard
Twelve months of live-build training is physically demanding by design. Every applicant must
demonstrate the following baseline before enrollment:
- 1.5-mile run under 15:00
- 20 push-ups
- Farmer's carry: 100 m carrying 50% bodyweight
- 30-second dead hang
- 20 loaded step-ups onto a 24-inch platform with 30 lb
- Medical ability to safely perform the required work
Remote Physical Verification
Applicants complete the Breakneck Physical Fitness Baseline remotely. The complete assessment must be
recorded continuously and witnessed by an approved, credentialed fitness professional.
The applicant uploads:
- Full, unedited assessment video
- Government-issued photo identification for identity verification
- Evaluator name and credentials
- Evaluator certification/license number and expiration
- Signed verification of the assessment conditions
Breakneck independently verifies the evaluator's credential before accepting the result. More granular
identity and residency verification occurs after conditional selection, through an appropriate
identity-verification provider.
Domestic & International Candidates
Domestic applicants receive priority for Campus Alpha. International applicants are nevertheless
encouraged to complete APEX and may qualify for the International Candidate Reserve.
Reserve candidates receive a completed Breakneck candidate profile, periodic status updates, notice of
relevant cohort openings, and priority consideration as international partnership programs and future
campuses become available.
Reserve does not mean forgotten. Candidates retain visibility into their status and can update
qualifications, fitness results, certifications, and availability while awaiting an eligible cohort.

Account creation, the APEX assessment, and your written statement are live now. The portal for physical verification video is being designed for secure handling of sensitive applicant health and readiness information — you'll be contacted directly at that stage.
Design Partner Conversation
There is more demand across the American industrial rebuild than any single institution — Breakneck
included — can meet alone. Breakneck does not compete with traditional trade and vocational schools; it
centralizes and integrates the layer above them: cross-discipline crews validated under pressure, not
isolated certifications.
Foreign and domestic industrial partners are welcome. The first conversation is thirty minutes, requires
no funding commitment, no exclusivity, and no proprietary data. We ask one question:
